Brennan is a longtime Comox Valley resident and Highland Secondary graduate. He studied political science and international relations at Vancouver Island University and the University of Calgary.
Before entering elected politics, Brennan worked in operations and project leadership in Canada and internationally, including large industrial and construction projects. He later served as Executive Director of the Eureka Support Society, a Comox Valley mental-health clubhouse organization.
That mix of private-sector, non-profit and community experience shapes how he approaches public policy: define the problem, measure the outcome, respect the people doing the work and do not confuse spending money with solving the problem.
He was elected in Courtenay–Comox in October 2024. Since then, his work has focused heavily on healthcare, seniors, rural access, local advocacy and government accountability. He introduced Bill M232, the Long Term Care Access and Transparency Act, and serves as Deputy Chair of the Special Committee to Review Provisions of the Insurance (Vehicle) Act.
Brennan is seeking re-election in Courtenay–Comox as the BC Conservative candidate.
